Lately...

Are you still here? No? I don't blame you. I think that was the longest I've gone without writing a post. What can I say, I'm a bad blogger. I wish I could say that I've been away on vacation or so busy that I just haven't had time to write, but none of that is true. I simply didn't feel like blogging. But, now I'm back with a quick update and promises of more to come!

I cannot even remember where I left off but I believe it was before I went here

To celebrate her

We had a blast in Miami and though I wish I could show you more photos, I'm afraid to say that they are not very PG, sorry. I should also say that for anyone going on a bachelorette/bachelor party, I don't recommend flying out at 6:15 a.m. the morning after staying up all night dancing. I feel bad for whomever was sitting beside me on the plane ride back to NYC. It was well worth the lack of sleep though.

The Husband and I also celebrated three years of love for which he bought me these

of which I managed to keep alive for almost one whole day. I'm glad that I can keep my marriage alive longer than I can keep flowers alive. I would be in big trouble if I couldn't. The secret to a happy  marriage? Laughter. Simple, but oh so true. The Husband makes me laugh daily.

To celebrate our 3 years, we went to see 1/2 of our favorite band - Hall &Oates. Though, for this performance it was just Hall. We quickly learned that 1/2 of anything isn't that good and Daryl was missing John. He did sing a couple favorites like "You Make My Dreams Come True" (for which we snuck down to the good seats).

I also had a chance to fly down to NC for a quick visit. I've never once gone home without a delay. Never once. I've been in NYC for six years this month (whaaa?) and that's a lot of delays and time spent at the airport. Though, once I did get home I was able to relax, spend some time with the fam and this guy

So to not make Miss Bailey jealous, here is how I found her the other night

She loves our bed and that blanket. If she could take that blanket around with her, she would. That girl knows how to relax. In the mornings before I leave for work, I always ask her if she wants to take my place and work for me. I would do a good job of keeping the bed warm for when she got home.

Also, it pays to have friends in PR with free product samples. The other night I had my two favorite NYC ladies over for wine and dinner. And, they didn't come empty handed

My friends are the best. We want to write a book together about what it's like to do PR in the city - we have some pretty entertaining stories. Now, if we can ever find the time when we aren't actually doing PR.

Back tomorrow with apartment pics!

  1. Welcome back! I think they genetically engineer the fibers in that blanket to attract dogs. I have one and BOTH of my dogs live for the thing.

  2. Thanks! Good to be back. I know, those blankets are the best. Sounds like you need two!
